Coronavirus worldwide: The number of cases surges pass 2,700,000
More than 191,000 people have so far died from the coronavirus pandemic around the world.

The coronavirus pandemic, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 886,709 cases, followed by Spain with 213,024 cases, Italy with 189,973 cases, France with 158,183 cases, Germany with 153,129 cases, the United Kingdom with 138,078 cases, Turkey with 101,790 cases, Iran with 87,026 cases and China with 82,804 cases.
A total of 749,652 patients have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
