President Erdoğan, who spoke at the “Tokat Province Night Program”, reacted strongly to the cancellation of the meeting of Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ in Germany, saying “Now they think that Tayyip Erdoğan will come to Germany. If I want I will, if I come and if you do not let me in or do not let me speak, I will set the world on the fire.”

President Erdoğan added that Turkiye is a source of inspiration for oppressed people and seriously disturbed someone both inside and outside, added to his words and said, "Only those who see gold, oil, and diamond in the Middle East, and in the Africa and pit brother against brother to exploit these resources, see the stance of our country as a threat for themselves. Look up, I will speak clearly here. As you know European countries have been organizing democracy and human rights report for Turkiye for a long time. They have been postponing the date of our membership to the European Union every time. They have made us wait for half a century. Actually Turkiye is one of the 20 most advanced economies in the world. We are an advanced country on the freedom more than many European countries.”

President Erdoğan noted that while new obstacles and barriers have been put in front of Turkiye, European countries, opening up to the end of Europe's gates for countries those are far behind in all respects from Turkiye, "We know very well that this process is not in good faith. We know very well that the problem is not in the criteria but in the point of view towards Turkiye,” and he said that the last attitude of Germany for the last two days were the clearest example of this issue.

"I thought you were finished with Nazism in Germany"

President Erdoğan said that German Chancellor Merkel had told Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım that “there should not be treated so hard,” and that some officials talked about fascism about this attitude of Germany, said “I am talking now, I thought Nazism is over in Germany, but it still continues. It is clear. If you believe in democracy, my ministry will meet with the minister, and there will be a meeting in the hall, why are you bothered? Another ministry is the same. Now the Netherlands has made a similar statement, woe poor woe, poor fellow, they do not act with their own will.”
