President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan explained the humanitarian crisis in eastern African countries due to drought in Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan and Yemen.

Commenting on his Twitter account, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that aid campaigns have been launched for the famine crisis in East Africa.

"East African countries, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya and South Sudan, along with Yemen are at risk of a major humanitarian crisis," said Erdoğan, referring to aid campaigns for people in East Africa and Yemen. “We can never remain indifferent to the aid calls of these countries, where the danger of hunger due to drought has reached serious dimensions.” added President Erdoğan.

"As Turkey, we are launching a helping campaign for our needy brothers in East Africa and Yemen." said Erdoğan, " Visit Turkish Red Crescent's website http://kizilay.org.tr  today to make an online donation and support the campaign,” twitted in his official twitter account. (ILKHA)
