Yapıcıoğlu visited the earthquake victims who settled in the tent city in Osmaniye, listened to their problems and troubles, shared their pain, and also took care of the children living in the tent city.

Yapıcıoğlu wished HÜDA PAR Osmaniye Provincial President Osman Aslan to get well soon because the party’s provincial headquarters was destroyed in the earthquake.

Yapıcıoğlu made important statements by answering the questions of journalists after his visit to the tent city.

Stating that the wounds of the earthquake victims in Osmaniye have been healed to a large extent, Yapıcıoğlu said: "May Allah not let us experience such pain again, we were shaken by two very destructive and consecutive earthquakes that affected a very large area, 11 provinces. We toured the regions affected by the earthquake, and we went to some of them more than once.  We are actually on the field all the time with 12 different teams.  Today we came to Osmaniye again.  We visited earthquake survivors.”

“Families with disabled people should be given priority in moving to containers”

Stressing that families with disabled people should be given priority in placing them in containers, Yapıcıoğlu said: "Because the rescue of the people under the rubble, their urgent food and shelter needs, their heating needs, their needs for clothing, maybe they are not talked about anymore. We walked around the field and met some of our families with disabled people. They have a demand to move to container cities as soon as possible.  They ask when they will pass.  Families with disabled people should be given priority in moving to containers.”

“The next stage is the settlement of our earthquake victims in their permanent residences”

Stating that the housing problem of earthquake victims should be solved, Yapıcıoğlu said: “However, as the weather has warmed up a bit compared to the first days of the earthquake, the housing problem is also very much here. Before coming here, we stopped by the dormitory of the Credit and Hostels Institution.  There are 1,800 people staying there.  Hopefully these wounds will heal quickly.  The next stage is the settlement of our earthquake victims in their permanent residences, and the construction to start as soon as possible after the locations are determined.  The expectations of the public are what we observe in the field.” (ILKHA)
