Turkey: Services producer price index rises by 20.16% annually
Services producer price index (S-PPI) increased by 20.16% annually and 0.01% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Tuesday.

S-PPI (2017=100) increased by 0.01% monthly, by 2.07% in December of the previous year, by 20.16% on the same month of the previous year, and by 16.46% on the twelve months moving averages basis in February 2021.
Transportation and storage services increased by 26.45% annually
The indices increased by 26.45% for transportation and storage services, by 20.81% for accommodation and food services, by 7.75% for information and communication services, decreased by 7.06% for real estate services, increased by 16.70% for professional, scientific, and technical services, by 21.38% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.
Transportation and storage services decreased by 1.05% monthly
The indices decreased by 1.05% for transportation and storage services, increased by 0.67% for accommodation and food services, by 1.13% for information and communication services, by 0.39% for real estate services, by 1.97% for professional, scientific, and technical services, decreased by 0.17% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.
The only annual decrease was in real estate services by 7.06%
The only rate of annual decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services was for real estate services by 7.06%. On the other hand, the highest rates of the annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for air transport services by 63.94%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 38.37%, for water transport services by 36.77%.
The highest monthly decrease was in air transport services by 5.71%
The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for air transport services by 5.71%, for travel agency, tour operator and other reservation services by 3.32%, for accommodation services by 1.79%. On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for office administrative, support, and other business support services by 5.24%, for advertising and market research services 4.81%, for water transport services by 4.35%.
