The London-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory announced that the Syrian regime is preparing to attack Idlib, as well as the civilians fleeing the region as the Russians began bombing the city.

Observatory President Rami Abdurrahman explained that hundreds of villagers in the southeastern part of the Idlib's country are heading towards the regions of the neighboring Aleppo province controlled by the opposition.

The United Nations has warned that a comprehensive operation against Idlib could displace 800,000 people.

Russia, Turkiye, and Iran will hold a trilateral summit on Syria in Tehran on Friday. The same day, the UN Security Council will address the situation in Idlib.

Turkiye, who hosts for more three million Syrians, is concerned about the possibility of a new wave of immigration. (ILKHA)
