HDP Chairman Selahaddin Demirtaş and DBP provincial former co-chairman Zübeyde Zümrüt had a call for their partisans to the streets with the excuse of Kobane in October 6-8, 2014.

PKK/HDP members who flew to the streets with the call of Demirtaş and Zümrüt, have slaughtered Yasin Börü and his friends on October 7, during they were distributing ‘sacrifice meat’, in the flowing days they have slaughtered many pious people in the region.

PKK/HDP members haven’t satisfied with the slaughtering of Muslims, they targeted associations in the region ransacked and looted them. Attackers wanted to burn Islamic associations within Muslim people inside.

Agents from CSOs in Diyarbakir who have been exposed attacks, remarked that PKK is in effort to liquidate accelerated Islamic works in the region.

President of Cami-Der (Mosque Association) Şeyhmus Taş, remarked that their association has been under attack by PKK/HDP members on October 6, 2014, which located in Sur, center district of Diyarbakir.

Taş uttered that attacks has been done to those Islamic identity structures, “Our association, which try to solve problems of mosques and Quran centers, arranging Islamic seminars and aiding to poor people. Our association which is a member of ‘Umut Kevanı Yardım Platformu’ [Hope convoy aid platform], has contributed to distribute sacrificed meat program. Our members and volunteers have gone to the association during the afternoon pray time. While they were inside, our association has been surrounded by barbaric, raving people and they started firing with guns. Our members and volunteers have been stuck in the association.”

Taş said that those who attacked on our association with long barreled weapons and gasoline bomb have fizzled out:

“They couldn’t get in to the association with the help of Allah. My mother was ill and I was in hospital in those hours. I was hearing bullet’s sound when I was talking to my friend through mobile phone. Our other volunteers wanted to go to the association but they couldn’t reach. After the sunset, our friends took an opportunity and got out from association, hided in a near place. PKK members have looted association after our friends left there. They have burned all Quran and Islamic books.”

Sur district police department: Save yourself

Despite the close distance between Cami-Der and Sur district police department, police didn’t come for help said Taş, “Distance between our association and police department is about 200-250 meters. Despite of this they didn’t come for help. They only defended themselves. They told to our friends ‘save yourself’ who phoned to police department. While families of our fans went to the police department asking for help, police answered ‘save your children, we only can defend out buildings.’ They brought us against betrayed, desperado people.”

They couldn’t tolerate Islamic works, Islam and Quran were on the target

Taş said that PKK started annihilation movement all out in the region to finish Islamic works which raised day by day, “That day they tried to do same to us what they did to Yasin Börü and and his friends. Those staff came from mountains. They knew better than anyone that those Islamic CSOs aren’t linked to ISIL. Actually Islam and Quran were on the target. They couldn’t tolerate Islamic works. They excused Kobane in order to prevent works.”

Abdulmuttalip Yuva, who has been exposed attacks said that he went to the association to distribute sacrifice meat. “They started firing when we got in front of the door, we turned back to the association again. They were serious, we reached those who we could reach by phoning and we phoned police many times. ‘Save yourself, have a good day’ and switched phone off. If they wanted to come, they could but they didn’t want. It is incompetence if a state cannot get into one of a small street and save citizens. Maybe polis also are instructed. They are same people who ordered PKK to attack and told police not to help. We were only expecting help from Allah, we know no one could save us if Allah didn’t want.”

Yuva added to his words that they got out with the help of Allah, “We all went to the sajdah, we all cuddled and said good bye. Then a silence moment happen that we couldn’t understand. We heard from outside that PKK members have hit one of their friend. We took the opportunity and we got out of the association, we hided in a near place. After that they have attacked again to the association and they burned it. They burned more than 100 Qurans. Within the next hours when curfew has been declared them we went home.” (ILKHA)
