Two people who were reported that they will attack by car bomb in Ankara have committed suicide when they understood that they will get arrest by police operation.

Police have evaluated a report and launched an operation on a horse farm on the road of Haymana which is 30 km far from Ankara.

Police asked those two who were in prepare for car bomb attack to surrender.

After the call of police, those two suicide bombers have detonated bombs in car and committed suicide.

Ankara Governor Ercan Topaca, made a speaking in the scene place. Governor Topaca said that the incident with high probability linked to PKK and stated that one of the suicide bomber is a woman.

Governor Topaca, “This incident carried out by warning report from Diyarbakir which those people were sought by police. Police intensified their search on this area after a citizen reported about suspect acts of a woman and a man received by police yesterday. They have seen that some people staying in a hut. In early morning police made a call for surrender to those in the hut. They didn`t reply positively. Before we interfere, they detonated themselves. After the search in the area, we found a male`s identity card. Harun Aslan was born in Bingöl. We think there is a woman but we haven`t identified her identity card.”

Governor Topaca said that they suspect for the third suicide bomber and try to determine this, “We suspect that there are nearly 200 kilos ammonium nitrate and plastic explosives. It is impossible to say where they have targeted. They blew themselves up. This action has been prevented. Probably they would use the car for this action. The car is bought in one or two days. The strange thing is they hanged Turkish flag to this car. We think it is to camouflage themselves they did this. So far the PKK link is not certain but current evidence indicates that Harun Arslan may have PKK links. Planning and caring out the attack refers that it is linked to PKK.” (ILKHA)
