In a statement released on Wednesday, the OIC called upon international organizations to take action, urging them to press the zionist occupation regime to cease its daily human rights violations in Palestine and pursue legal measures against it through the appropriate international channels.

An investigation unveiled by the israeli human rights organization B’Tselem on Tuesday exposed disturbing details of Israeli female soldiers compelling Palestinian women to strip naked in front of their children during a night raid on their homes that occurred on July 10. The soldiers reportedly threatened to release K-9 dogs on the families if the women did not comply.

In a separate development, Kuwait's Foreign Minister, Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah, reaffirmed his nation's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their quest for securing their rights. These statements were made during a meeting with Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, which took place on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 160th meeting of Arab League foreign ministers held in Cairo. During this meeting, officials discussed strategies to ensure the sustained operation of UNRWA.

Commissioner General Lazzarini used the occasion to provide an overview of the humanitarian programs administered by his agency in support of Palestinian refugees worldwide. He also commended Kuwaiti authorities for their steadfast support of the Palestinian people and acknowledged the nation's contributions to refugee aid initiatives.

Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah reaffirmed Kuwait's dedication to UNRWA's work, emphasizing its crucial role in delivering vital services to Palestinian refugees. In official figures, it was revealed that Kuwait contributed $12 million in 2022 to support UNRWA's mission. (ILKHA)
