4 people killed, 6 injured in traffic accident in southeastern Turkey
Four people were killed and 6 others injured in a road accident in the Baykan district of Turkey’s southeastern Siirt province on Sunday morning.
The accident happened when a van carrying workers plunged into a ditch near Veyselkarani town on the Siirt-Baykan Highway, according to local sources.
Ambulances, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene after the accident had been reported to the officials.
The injured were transferred to Siirt Education and Research Hospital.
An investigation has been launched into the accident, the officials said. (ILKHA)
