Turkey’s coronavirus death toll reaches 19,624
253 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 19,624, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,133,373, after 15,118 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 4,501 patients are in critical condition, 1,994,034 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
23,605,813 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
