The coronavirus pandemic, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people around the world.
The United States has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases with 645,361 cases, followed by Spain with 182,816 cases, Italy with 165,632 cases, France with 147,863 cases, Germany with 134,834 cases, the United Kingdom with 98,476 cases, China with 82,341 cases and Iran with 77,995 cases.
A total of 520,553 patients have so far recovered and have been discharged from hospital. (ILKHA)
