China, which denied their existence, has legalized the "internment camps" in western Xinjiang region where Muslims forcibly are being held after arbitrary detention with radicalism pretexts.

The legislative change related to internment camps came after the launch of a campaign on halal products in the 12-million-Muslim community in Sinjan [Xinjiang].

Meanwhile, the Chinese authorities have threatened to "detain" if the concept of "halal" expands.

The leaders of the Communist Party also asked the local authorities to fight "halal products".

China, where 23 million Muslims live, has been on the target of international human rights organizations on the grounds that it carries out mass detention of Uighur Muslims in the context of "religious extremism".

People who released or escaped from camps express physical and psychological torture was applied. Many people, who had to escape from the persecution of China, cannot reach their families.

Right groups, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, reported that people who detained in camps swears loyalty to China's President Xi Jinping and criticize their renounce and faith. (ILKHA)
