HUDA PAR Secretary General Şehzade Demir visited Mardin Journalists and Writers' Association. Welcoming by Mardin Journalists and Writers Association Founder President Nezir Güneş and board member Salih Keskin, Secretary General Demir made a statement on the agenda.

"Trustees did not solve troubles"

Recalling that serious problems in the field are observed, especially trustees whom appointed by the state, did not solve troubles, Demir said:

"We need to address the issues more seriously and take more radical steps at the solution point. We observe serious problems and difficulties, especially on young people. Much more comprehensive projects need to be developed for local problems. Projects need to be prepared to improve and strengthen spiritual values. As far as we can see, existing programs and projects are insufficient to compensate for the damages. They have not brought anything different from their predecessors, especially in this regard."

"The Afrin issue is not an ordinary issue"

Noting that they closely follow the Afrin issue, Demir stated that they have concerns about this issue.

"Concerns are growing more and more in each passing day about Afrin. Because; the Afrin issue is not an ordinary issue. It is a matter that all regional countries, especially our region, can be affected very seriously. We can say it is a key point. Clearly, we have to say and accept that; the situation of Afrin and the attempt of the USA to settle in the region through PYD is a product of earlier wrong policies. We have said this since the first day; we have said that the countries of the region in Syria should come together and solve the problems and close the front of the imperialist countries. However, insistently imperialist countries such as the USA and Russia were invited to the region and their intervention areas were opened to them. It is obvious that the US is not a friend; if it enters to a region, it shatters all the balances of that region and substitutes its own interest. That is what the US is trying to do. It seriously threatens the future of Syria, Turkiye, and other regional countries. As a result of wrong policies, the US has been brought into the region, now it is desired to be gone. This will not be so easy," he said.

"PYD does not represent the Kurds"

Demir said that the PYD does not represent the Kurds and that it has an imposing structure. "PYD certainly does not represent the Kurds, it had banned the other Kurdish parties and ended since the first day. With the persecution, oppression and the wrongs, made the entire Kurdish structures there to flee from the region. It has an imposing structure. It has a secular and socialist intellectual structure. Therefore, it cannot be said that the PYD represents the Kurds. There will be serious complications of the intervention made and serious complications of not intervening. The fact that the United States continues to have a strong presence there is a great threat to the countries of the region and the Islamic Ummah. It is obviously a distressing process."

"HUDA PAR conducts actively politics"

Mardin Journalists and Founders of the Authors Society Nezir Güneş also thanked HUDA PAR Secretary General Şehzade Demir for his visit and said, "Political parties should continue their active stance towards solving the problems of the people. In this sense, HUDA PAR is carrying out an active policy. We thank -HUDA PAR- for finding solutions to public problems." (M.
