Iran's Religious Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's foreign policy adviser Ali Akbar Velayati spoke about the words of President Donald Trump on Iran at a ceremony held in Tehran said in a statement to reporters.

"America is one of the 5 + 1 countries that have signed the nuclear deal," said Velayati and added: "There need to fulfill the promise of a 5 + 1 member. There is no such thing as new nuclear negotiations or reviewing the deal. There will no new nuclear deal."

"US Trump's remarks are nothing new. He is doing a series of nonsense speeches and those around him try to fix those absurd conversations," said Ali Ekber Velayati and continued as follow:

"The Americans did not fulfill their promises ever. They always followed politics of not fulfilling their promises. So 5 + 1 member states, should take a stand against the words of Trump that didn't fulfill its promises. The nuclear deal is a deal which no need to be approved by the US. At this point, the US must adhere to the agreement it has signed."

Velayati stated that there are different views on the nuclear deal, "Now European countries say the nuclear agreement is valid but must be additional material. That's why they say that there sould be a condition for interviewing the presence of Iran in the region. Such a condition cannot be accepted as not being correct. Our presence in the region or our defense missiles non-negotiable in any way. This is an insult to the people of Iran and the necessary response will be given." (Hamza Erdem - ILKHA)
