Student donates her award to Arakan

In the scope of "Mosques and Religious Staff Week" in Gaziantep, the Imam-Hatip student, who won the prize in the composition contest between high schools and secondary schools, donated her prize to the Arakanese Muslims who are under the persecution of the Myanmar army and Buddhist gangs.

Yavuzeli Imam Hatip Secondary school student Zeynep Irem Kaya, aged 11, who is the winner of the composition competition held in Gaziantep for "Mosques and Religious Staff Week" donated the quarter gold coin prize she won from the contest to the Arakan via the Diyanet Foundation Gaziantep Branch.

The award ceremony held by Gaziantep Provincial Mufti was organized in the conference room of the mufti. Zeynep Irem Kaya, who received the award from Provincial Mufti Ahmet Çelik, said she would like to donate the quarter-gold-coin award to Arakan.

Kaya, who presented the prize to the officials of the Religious Foundation together with her father Halil Kaya, stated that she was happy to enter the race and earned a prize and that her second happiness was to donate the award to such a charitable work. (ILKHA)
