Mustazafs Association Batman Branch Chairman Fevzi Aydın issues a written message on the anniversary of the murder of Imam Hussein in Karbala desert at the 61st year of Hegira in 10^th of Muharram. Aydın stated that the mentality that caused the murder of Imam Hussein in Karbala is still in charge massacring millions of Muslims and experiencing new Karbalas.

The reason that leads to Hussein in Karbala desert, was the raising against persecution, and the power usurped by the brutal rulers to be given to those who will rule with justice and compassion, and it was the demand of rights of oppressions that usurped by persecutors. Aydin continued: "The persecution taking place in Karbala, wanted to give us a message. That message is, never bow to the persecution. That message is the message to go to right and justice, no matter what it costs. It is a message that reveals the disaster that is caused by the people who are not competent to rule the Islamic nation. Today everywhere have returned to Karbala and every day returned to Ashura under those rulers of the Islamic world who serving the ambitions of imperialist forces and tyrants. All of these messages, leaving us a legacy of Imam Hussein that the yearly turn of the martyrdom of has once again shown to us that those who do not bow to the persecution have survived an and honorable life throughout history and those who oppress and subjugate are deprived of this honor."
