With the beginning of the 2017-2018 academic year, the General Directorate of Security implemented the application in the parks around the schools and in the regions throughout Turkiye.

In 21-29 September 2017, 18 thousand 805 parks were checked in the school surroundings.

In practice, 17 thousand 798 students found in the park and school environment during the lessons were delivered to their schools. 123 thousand 883 people were under the control of the criminal record check. A total of 224 people were caught. While 181 persons were taken into custody, 715 persons were subjected to judicial administrative proceedings. The administrative proceedings were followed by a fine of 113 thousand 559 Turkish Liras.

During the search, an unlicensed pistol, three shotguns, 27 rounds, 13 knives, two blank-firing pistols, 1.1 g of heroin, 24.91 grams of marijuana, 105.58 grams bonzai and 83 pieces of captagon were seized.

It was noted that the audits will be continued without interruption in order for the students to make education in a safe environment. (ILKHA)
