Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbaş stated that he resigned from his post.

Topbaş said, "The opposition wants to produce politics from here. I will not allow it. And I have left the mayor, I have resigned. But I am never lacking in a bond with my political party. I am a member of the party.”

Topbaş said, "Error and betrayal should never be confused with each other. Betrayal can never be forgiven. I do not leave a borrowed municipality. I especially thank the members of the party. I have not used fatigue in my life.” (ILKHA)
