In the agenda evaluation made by the HUDA PAR Headquarters, it draws up attention to the problems of seasonal agricultural workers, emphasized that the government should find substantial solutions as soon as possible in this matter which the government has made statements and commitments about bringing solutions.

HUDA PAR made significant statement on relations between Iran and Turkey, especially the seasonal agriculture workers problem, which once again came to the agenda due to the loss of life of 7 workers and the injuries of 9 workers in the last days of the accident of the tractor carrying seasonal agricultural workers in Sakarya, Germany-Turkiye tension, Sierra Leone flood disaster and so on.

It is stated that the problem of the seasonal agricultural worker is a problem which has been on the agenda of Turkiye for many years and it is stated that seasonal agricultural workers who come to the agenda by accident coming to the work areas are urgently required to be resolved.

It was stated in the statement that the agricultural workers' safe transition to the working regions, the environment should be suitable for the dignity of the people in accommodation, and the wages and social rights of these workers should be taken as state guarantee.

The following explanations are included: “The fact that the problems of the working life in our country, in general, cannot be handled with a proper and fair approach, unfortunately, it is also affecting here. Proportionate to the working conditions of seasonal laborers and wasted labor; the legal losses, problems such as lack of adequate supervision, problems caused by intermediaries, unsecured transportation conditions, unhealthy environments where hygiene conditions are not ensured should be addressed and solved first. Although the development gap between the regions and the injustice in income distribution are directly related to the basic economic problems, the matter also directly affects the issues.”

“The statements done by the Government on the issue a few month ago and shared with the public relating to the commitments of many ministries, such as Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of National Education and Ministry of Family and Social Policy, which the problem is among of those ministries’ responsibility and will bring solutions to this issue, unfortunately their statements and commitments have not put into the force. Unwariness cost dozens seasonal agricultural workers’ lives every year. We invite the government to fulfill its commitments and to find substantial solutions on this issue,” said in the statement.

Relations between Iran and Turkiye

During the week, Iranian Chief of General Staff Muhammad Bakiri, accompanied by his delegation, came to Turkiye which reminded in the statement that he was in high-level talks includes Syrian crisis and the developments in the region were discussed and common steps are going to be taken.

“The rapprochement of both countries is crucial and necessary, in order to determine common attitudes focused on the solution of the war in Syria and the heavy balance sheet and threats arising from the war. In addition, it is certain that a relationship with the aim of establishing justice on the right footing will benefit both countries and the geography of Islam, which are the target of imperialist powers,” said in the statement.

In the explanations, the following evaluations were made: “While determining common attitudes towards regional issues and developments, there should not be narrow interests and narrow national interests. The starting point and common point of both countries should be the general interest of the Ummah.”

Germany-Turkiye tension
