“Islamic countries do not have a unique immigration policy,” said Muhammad Jawad Mahmood who has been evaluating to ILKHA on the UN and EU's immigration policy, Turkiye's position in this issue and its approach towards the Syrians.

Dr. Muhammad Jawad Mahmood stated the Germany is uncomfortable with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's foreign policy in the last period indicating that Germany does not want a country or a human standing upright against himself.

In recent days, there are serious problems between EU countries, especially between Germany and Turkiye. The foundation of the problems is the German immigration policy as well as the FETO’s fugitives. The US administration, on the other hand, is following discriminatory, otherizing, racist policies towards some Islamic countries because of its immigrant background.

“Turkey has opened its borders with humanitarian sensitivities to Syrian refugees”

Recalling that immigration politics changed sometimes in terms of human and sometimes political conjuncture, Mahmood said, “There are humanitarian situations in immigration politics. Millions of people came to Iran after the events in Afghanistan. Iran had a young population and did not need a young population. Turkiye is now experiencing a similar situation in the case of the Syrian immigrants. The population of Turkiye is young and there is no need for work power. Still, Turkiye has opened its borders with human sensitivities to Syrian refugees.”

“Germany wants young people to use”

Pointing to political tensions between Turkiye and Germany and the recent calls by President Erdoğan to the Turks in Germany, Mahmood finally said:

"As it is known, in the 60's years, Germany has made a significant transfer of human power from Turkiye. Benefited from the Turks. You cannot ignore the contribution of this human power in the development of Germany. Turkiye sent human power to Germany. Mr. Erdoğan is calling to the Turks in Germany today and he is rightly saying, ‘you are our citizens, you live there for a long time, consider your country's long-term interests, vote for this and do not vote for that.’ Germany, on the other hand, does not want a country or a human standing upright against them. The main source of people from Iraq, Syria or other countries is Germany, and there is no one who guides them. So Germany naturally wants these kinds of young people to use.” (ILKHA)
