First results in Bulgaria point coalition
The first results of the early general elections yesterday in Bulgaria point to the coalition.
Voting for early general elections in Bulgaria started at 07.00 local time yesterday and ended at 20.00 yesterday. 21 are independent, 13 political parties and 9 alliance races for 240 seats.
Under the leadership of former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the right-wing Party of Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) completed the election as first party.
In the elections, it was stated that GERB had a rate of 33 percent, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) 28 percent, the United Patriots of the racist Ataka Party9.6 percent and 8 percent of the Rights and Freedoms Movement.
In Parliament, a party has to issue 121 deputies to form a government alone, but these figures point to the coalition in Bulgaria.
Coalition talks are expected to begin after the results are officially announced.
The president, who will consult with the political parties in Parliament, first assigns the highest number of political parties to form a government. If this attempt fails, the second political party, if this fails, the third political party will be assigned, or the president is tasked to form a coalition government.
But losing the election race, the BSP said it would not join the coalition government. (Hamza Adiyaman - ILKHA)
