"Six of 55 wounded have risk of death"

Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu and Minister of Health Recep Akdağ came to the city made a joint press statement on the attack carried out on a public bus which 13 soldiers lost their lives.

Secretary of Defense Fikri Işık, Minister of Environment and Urbanism Mehmet Özhaseki and Police General Director Selami Altinok were also accompanied to Minister Soylu and Akdağ.

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, made a press conference in Kayseri Governor's Office, said that they would never allow intimidation against attacks.

Soylu expressing his deep sorrow in the incident, said the attack meant to the unity and coexistence of Turkiye.

Soylu, "If there is an account for Turkiye taking the step back in fight against terrorism, it should be known that these terrorist attacks will not affect our determination to fight terrorism. We will continue this stability with our state, our nation, and our government. Those who could not invade Turkiye on July 15th are trying to annihilate Turkiye with terror and to drive our people to despair. We are determined to break the terror in Turkiye. These actions are the world's lowest actions. I want to let you know that we will reprisal. We will be patient and we will take it away. Terrorism is to create the negative, we will not allow this."

Health Minister Recep Akdağ gave information about the treatment of the wounded. Minister Akdağ, "There are 55 injured in the hospital, 38 are in the Hospital of Erciyes University Medical Faculty, 9 in the Education and Research Hospital, others in private hospital. Six of them have risk of death. With terror, they wants to make society impatient and agitated. I declare that we will overcome this in the spirit of brotherhood. I wish mercy to family to martyrs."
