The families were received by Head of Batman office Ramazan Çelikalp, Member of the Board Mehmet Şat and other association members. FETÖ victim families requested support by voicing the grievances and unlawfulness they had through.

Indicating that the prisoners of Islamic identities who were plotted with fraud cases set by FETÖ/PDY (Parallel State Structure) must be regarded, spokesman of victim families Hüseyin Olam said: “we, the victims of February 28 and FETÖ, have been visiting NGOs. FETÖ set plots beyond the imaginations against especially Islamic movements through the power it gained by instilling the state institutions. We suffered from JITEM and Ergenekon organizations in the past. Then, FETÖ commenced lawless juridical acts against Islamic bodies in our region. They kidnapped people and even executed them. The apparent example of this is the murder of Cevzet Soysal in Batman.

FETÖ’s real face emerged after July 15 coup attempt

Saying that as Özgür Der under the name of ‘Islamic Movement’ we have many prisoners incurred FETÖ plots, Mehmet Şat said:

“Our prisoners have approximately been in prisons for 22-24 years. When my brother was apprehended, I was also detained. While I was being tortured, the police officers constantly asked me why I wasn’t interested in Fethullah Gulen community and why I hadn’t joined his cult. At that time, we were trying to speak out about those police and juridical members were Fethullah Gülen followers but they were in a well-camouflaged state at those times.  Their real face emerged after July 15 brutal coup attempt.”

Underlining that scores of people who were speaking to media about them or preparing books against them were annihilated by unknown murders, Şat said that; “we can understand now, why those people weren’t be able to found. Because, police, juridical structure and intelligence services were all at their side. Thus, the murders they committed haven’t been enlightened so far. I hope, these murders committed in the past can be unearthed now. (ILKHA)
