In a show of support for the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza, Hezbollah carried out a series of strikes against Israeli occupation sites near the Lebanon-Israel border.

The group released consecutive statements detailing the attacks and their impact.

The first statement reported that at 03:50 PM on Friday, February 2, 2024, Hezbollah fighters targeted Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in Lebanon’s occupied Kfarshuba Hills and Shebaa Farms with missile weapons, resulting in direct hits.

"In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their honorable and brave resistance, and after targeting Ruweisat Al-Alam site, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 4:40 PM on Friday, February 2, 2024, the deployment of enemy soldiers in its vicinity with missile weapons, achieving direct hits," the second statement highlighted.

The third statement affirmed that, in response to Israeli attacks on southern villages, including the recent raid on a supermarket in the town of Al-Jabayn, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a building in Avivim settlement at 05:20 PM on Friday, February 2, 2024, with appropriate weapons, achieving direct hits.

Local sources reported that the Israeli enemy resumed its aggression on villages and towns in South Lebanon, conducting air raids on the eastern outskirts of Aitaroun with around 50 artillery shells fired on the region. (ILKHA)
