UNICEF emphasized the urgent need for a humanitarian pause to ensure safe and unhindered access to children and families in Gaza.

As the conflict with Hamas enters its tenth day, Israel's bombardment and blockade persist, resulting in over 1 million people, almost half of Gaza's total population, being displaced, according to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

Gaza is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, marked by a lack of electricity, dwindling water, food, fuel, and medical supplies.

Civilians are fleeing to the southern region of Gaza following Israeli warnings to evacuate the northern areas. (ILKHA)
