Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia to meet in Moscow

The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia are set to meet in Moscow on Tuesday to discuss the situation in the Karabakh region and enhance the implementation of tripartite agreements signed by the leaders of the three countries.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan. The ministers will explore ways to de-escalate tensions in Karabakh and work towards a comprehensive peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan. Russia is prepared to offer substantial support in resolving outstanding issues.

The talks will also cover key aspects of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including the opening of transport links in the region, delimitation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, and fostering parliamentary dialogue.

In addition to the trilateral meeting, Lavrov will hold bilateral discussions with Bayramov and Mirzoyan. The focus of these discussions will be on current matters concerning the political, trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, as well as Russia and Armenia. (ILKHA)
