Hamas urges international community to resist israeli blackmail on UN funding
The Hamas Movement has issued a strong condemnation of israel's recent incitement and smear campaign targeting UN organizations providing humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The movement denounced israel's baseless accusations, including claims of collusion with Hamas, directed at the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas called these allegations "hollow" and part of a broader strategy to cut off funding to UN agencies, depriving Palestinians of vital services. The Movement urged the UN and international organizations not to succumb to what it referred to as the "rogue Nazi entity's" threats and blackmail.
Hamas emphasized the crucial role of these agencies in aiding the Palestinian people and documenting alleged crimes, describing them as essential lifelines for the population facing what it termed "genocidal crimes" in Gaza. (ILKHA)
