UNICEF urges global attention as Gaza humanitarian crisis intensifies
UNICEF Deputy Executive Director Ted Chaiban completed a three-day visit to the Gaza Strip, coordinating with local and international organizations to assess the emergency response and humanitarian operations.
Chaiban expressed deep concern, stating that since his last visit two months ago, the situation has deteriorated from catastrophic to near collapse.
UNICEF has previously identified the Gaza Strip as the most dangerous place in the world for children.
Chaiban emphasized the urgent need for global attention, describing the ongoing situation as a "war on children."
During the israeli aggression on Gaza, nearly 25,000 people were reported killed, with up to 70% being women and children. (ILKHA)
