Civilian casualties mount as israel extends aggression on Gaza for 84 consecutive days
Zionist occupation forces continue their assault on the Gaza Strip for the 84th consecutive day, launching indiscriminate attacks from land, air, and sea.
The ongoing bombardments have caused numerous civilian casualties, particularly among children and women, in various areas.
This morning witnessed a renewed wave of airstrikes and artillery shelling, claiming the lives of dozens of civilians in central and southern Gaza, according to medical sources. In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, 20 civilians were reported killed as their homes became the target of israeli airstrikes and artillery.
Zionist forces targeted residential homes, mosques, and populated areas in central and southern Gaza, resulting in further casualties. The Al-Amouri family in the Fakhari area, east of Khan Yunis, suffered 11 fatalities in an Israeli airstrike. The eastern regions of Khan Yunis also faced continuous airstrikes and shelling.
In Rafah, zionist forces targeted the Diab family home in the Shaboura refugee camp, resulting in numerous civilian casualties. Earlier airstrikes in Rafah claimed the lives of at least 20 civilians. In the Maghazi camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, israeli warplanes shelled houses and the Zaafran Mosque, resulting in the death of 14 civilians.
Israeli helicopters fired machine guns at homes in the central area of the Strip. Medical sources reported casualties arriving at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital due to attacks on the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Drones targeted residential areas, and the israeli navy fired heavy machine gun rounds along the coastline.
Preliminary estimates suggest that the israeli aggression since October 7 has resulted in over 21,000 victims, approximately 55,000 injuries, and thousands still missing, with the majority being children and women. (ILKHA)
