Haneyya said that the Palestinian resistance is engaged in a heroic epic to defend the Aqsa Mosque, their sanctities, and their prisoners.

He said that the central and fundamental cause of the operation is the criminal Zionist aggression that took place against the blessed Aqsa Mosque, which reached its peak during the past days, when thousands of fascist criminal settlers stormed the holy site.

Haneyya expressed confidence that all of the Palestinian nation, from east to west, from north to south, and in every place, will be part of the battle to defend the Aqsa Mosque.

He called on all Muslims everywhere and all the free people all over the world to stand by the Palestinian right to defend the Aqsa.

Earlier on Saturday morning, Mohamed al-Deif, commander-in-chief of al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, announced the launch of “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” in response to the zionist occupation state’s crimes against the Palestinians and the escalating settler desecration of the Aqsa Mosque.

The Aqsa Flood operation has resulted in heavy rocket fire from Gaza on zionist targets. The zionist occupation state has responded with airstrikes on Gaza. The situation is fluid and developing. (ILKHA)
