Turkish coast guard rescues 73 irregular migrants pushed back by Greek forces
In a series of events off the coast of Muğla and İzmir, the Turkish Coast Guard demonstrated swift action, rescuing 73 irregular migrants who had been forcibly pushed back into Turkish territorial waters by Greek forces.

The rescue operations, conducted by Turkish authorities, unfolded in both Muğla and İzmir provinces. In total, 87 irregular migrants were apprehended during these coordinated efforts to ensure the safety of those in distress.
Following the successful rescues, the irregular migrants were promptly transported to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, where necessary procedures and support services will be provided.
