4.8 magnitude earthquake strikes Kirkuk, Iraq
A 4.8 magnitude earthquake shook the city of Kirkuk, Iraq in the early hours of this morning.
The earthquake struck at 00:43 local time, according to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The epicenter of the earthquake was located near Kirkuk at a depth of 7 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt in several cities in Iraq, including Mosul, Baghdad, Sulaymaniyah and Erbil.
