18 suspects apprehended attempting illegal border crossing from Türkiye to Greece
The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that 18 suspects were captured while trying to cross illegally to Greece.

The suspects were caught by Border Eagles serving in Edirne, a city on the border between Türkiye and Greece.
An investigation into the suspects revealed that 13 of them were members of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), which is responsible for the 2016 coup attempt in Türkiye. The other five suspects were not affiliated with any illegal organization.
The suspects are currently being held in custody and are being questioned by the authorities. (ILKHA)
