Zionist occupation regime demolishes 303 Palestinian structures, confiscates 44,000 acres of land
The Council for the Fight Against Jewish Settlements has published a report on the violations by the Zionist occupation regime during the first six months of 2023.
The report revealed that the occupation regime carried out hundreds of demolitions in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, destroying 303 structures, including a school. As a result of the demolitions, 543 people, including 272 children, were left homeless.
The report also found that the occupation regime committed 4,073 separate violations against Palestinian structures, including sabotage, uprooting trees, road closures, and physical injuries. In addition, as a result of 1,148 attacks by Jewish settlers, 8 Palestinians died.
The report also found that the occupation regime established 13 illegal settlements on Palestinian lands and seized 44,000 acres of land under various pretexts.
In addition, the occupation forces and Jewish settlers cut down or damaged 8,340 trees since the beginning of the year.
The report concludes that the Zionist occupation regime is systematically violating the human rights of Palestinians and destroying their property.
The report also called on the international community to take action to end the occupation and protect the rights of Palestinians. (ILKHA)
