At least 4 killed, 10 injured in minibus crash in eastern Türkiye
A minibus carrying people who had attended a wedding in Istanbul and were returning to Erzurum veered off the road and overturned in eastern Türkiye's Erzincan province on Sunday, killing at least 4 people and injuring 10 others.
The accident took place at the Sakaltutan Pass, located at the 40th kilometer of the Erzincan-Sivas highway. According to initial reports, the minibus veered off the road and overturned for unknown reasons.
The driver and three passengers in the minibus were killed, while 10 others, including children, were injured. The injured were transported to Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital by ambulances.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash and ascertain the cause. (ILKHA)
