Mishaal made his remarks in Algeria during a festival organized on Friday by the Movement of Society for Peace to mark the death anniversary of its founder Sheikh Mahfouz Nahnah and its 32nd founding anniversary, as well as the country's Independence and Youth Day.

The Hamas leader applauded Algeria's historical positions towards the Palestinian cause, and thanked the Algerian presidency for its generous donation for the reconstruction of Jenin.

He also highlighted the political partnership in the Palestinian arena as deeply rooted in his Movement's organizational structure and an important element for sharing national responsibilities.

Algerian president Abdul-Majeed Tebboune has recently granted a financial contribution of 30 million dollars to help rebuild Jenin and its refugee camp after the attack the zionist occupation forces carried out on July 3, which claimed the lives of 13 Palestinians, injured dozens and caused widespread damage to homes and infrastructure.
