As the holy festival of Eid al-Adha approaches, Kurtaran issued a heartfelt appeal to philanthropists, urging them to donate sacrificial animals in order to deliver the meat to the earthquake survivors in need.

Accompanied by Cafer Ökmen, Vice President of Hope Caravan Foundation, Mehmet Faik Doğan, the foundation's coordinator in the 2nd Region, Ali Sağlık, President of the foundation's Malatya branch, and Behcet Sevgili, Coordinator of the foundation in Malatya, Kurtaran toured the affected areas and provided vital food aid to those sheltered in tents.

In a statement following the visit, Kurtaran expressed their unwavering commitment to supporting the earthquake-stricken regions from day one, assuring the survivors that they would not be left alone until their wounds were fully healed. “We stand by our brothers and sisters in this difficult time,” Kurtaran emphasized.

Having already visited Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, and Kâhta, Kurtaran emphasized the remarkable efforts of Hope Caravan Foundation's Malatya association, which has been tirelessly working since the beginning of the earthquake to heal the wounds of the affected individuals. Their involvement in the relief operations has been ongoing, demonstrating a steadfast dedication to the cause.

Kurtaran emphasized their continued endeavors to meet the pressing needs of the survivors residing in temporary tent and container cities, with a primary focus on providing essential food aid. He assured the public that their systematic food distribution efforts were progressing smoothly, underscoring the foundation's unyielding support for those affected by the catastrophe.

Reflecting on their assistance during the holy month of Ramadan, Kurtaran highlighted the provision of iftar (the meal to break the fast) and suhoor (pre-dawn meal) to their earthquake-stricken brothers and sisters. Furthermore, he emphasized their commitment to stand alongside the survivors even after Ramadan, continuing their relief efforts to help heal their wounds.

“We kindly request generous individuals to donate sacrificial animals, enabling us to deliver the meat to those affected by the earthquake,” Kurtaran appealed. With Eid al-Adha drawing near, he urged individuals to respond promptly to their earlier call for sacrificial animal donations, particularly emphasizing the significant efforts planned for earthquake-stricken areas across the country.

Kurtaran urged philanthropists to contribute to Hope Caravan Foundation, assuring them that their entrusted duties would be faithfully fulfilled by distributing the sacrificial meat to the affected regions and the brothers and sisters in need. (ILKHA)
