A humanitarian aid campaign that was initiated by Hope Caravan Foundation, European Orphan Hand, Orphans Foundation, and IHO EBRAR to aid people who were struck by the deadly earthquake in southern Türkiye and northern Syria continues in full swing.

“Hope Caravan will continue its humanitarian aid efforts in the earthquake zone during Ramadan”

“We, as Hope Caravan, have been carrying out our relief efforts in earthquake areas since the first day of the earthquake. In particular, we continue to distribute hot meals to earthquake victims in at 14 soup kitchens in 4 provinces in the earthquake zone,” Cengiz Kurtaran told Ilke News Agency.

Drawing attention to the destruction caused by the earthquake in Hatay, Kurtaran continued his remarks as follows: “When we visited the province of Hatay, we saw that there was great destruction in Defne district and it turned into a ghost town. Maybe there wouldn't be so much destruction if there was a war. There we encountered a scene that appalled us.”

Calling on the benefactors to support the foundation’s charitable projects for the holy month of Ramadan, Kurtaran said: “I want philanthropists to continue their support. Because we will go through a long process. We will do our best to meet the needs of earthquake victims. We are currently preparing for the month of Ramadan with our friends. If Allah wills, we will distribute meals both in iftar and sahur. We will renovate our tents and place chairs and tables. I ask the benefactors not to leave us alone in our efforts.” (ILKHA)
