Belgium to send new weapons to Ukraine
Belgium plans to send additional anti-tank and anti-aircraft artillery to the Ukrainian armed forces, Defence Minister Ludivine Dedonder said.
The amount of the military aid has been sent, not yet including the new aid package, already amounts to 90 million euros, Dedonder said in parliament on Thursday
The new Belgian weapons package includes anti-aircraft missiles, anti-tank weapons, machine guns, and ammunition, which would be the largest to date.
The issue will be discussed next week at the Council of Ministers, the defense minister's spokesman said.
According to political and military sources, part of the new Belgian arms deliveries will come from its own stocks, another part will be ordered from Belgian industry. (ILKHA)
