Flash floods kill at least 18 people in northeastern Afghanistan
Flash floods killed at least 18 people and injured more than 40 others in Afghanistan’s northeastern Kunar province.
Kunar Disaster Management Department said that 18 people, including women and children, have died, 40 others have been injured and 579 houses have been destroyed in recent floods.
Afghan Red Crescent staff and volunteers have rescued people in their homes in Dando area in the Center of Kunar Province, local reports said. (ILKHA)
