This declaration comes to consolidate further Washington’s approach of siding with and supporting the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Palestinian people and their land and Islamic and Christian holy sites and a continuation of the US's suspicious attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause by integrating this “Zionist entity” into our Arab and Islamic Ummah, the Movement said in a statement issued Thursday.

This declaration expresses the blatant and unacceptable bias of the US administration in favor of the Zionist entity and its occupation agendas. It makes the US administration a partner in the Israeli occupation's aggression and terrorism against our Palestinian land, people, and sanctities.

Hamas stressed that the so-called “Jerusalem Declaration” is nothing but a new chapter in consolidating the occupation and “strengthening the American-Zionist terrorism directed against our Palestinian land, people, and holy sites.”

It is no different from other invalid charters and treaties that our Palestinian people had experienced throughout their history of struggle and were able to thwart them by their steadfastness and resistance.

The Movement warned against this document's danger to the present, future, security, and stability of our Arab and Islamic Ummah and its peoples, by trying to integrate this “alien entity” into its body. 

It further called "for mobilizing all forces in the Ummah towards rejecting the so-called ‘Jerusalem Declaration’ and not succumbing to American dictates that look after the Zionist enemy's interests at the expense of the Arab and Islamic peoples' interests."

Hamas also called on the Palestinian people, factions, and national forces to declare their rejection of this document, and to move forward on the path of comprehensive resistance until achieving the aspirations of the Palestinian people for liberation and return. (ILKHA)
