Gunmen kill 18 farmers in northwest Nigeria
Gunmen killed 18 farmers and kidnapped nursing mothers in separate attacks on Dangulbi and Kango villages in Maru Local Government Area (LGA) of Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria.

According to Nigerian officials, these attacks took place between July 10 and 11, respectively.
Nursing mothers were forced to drop their babies at home while being kidnapped by gunmen, local residents said.
