6 PKK/YPG members neutralized in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry says
Six PKK/YPG members were neutralized in the area of Olive Branch Operation in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
“The successful operations of our commandos are continuing in the Olive Branch region. Six PKK/YPG members, who were preparing attacks in the areas of Operation Olive Branch, were neutralized,” the statement said.
Operation Olive Branch was a cross-border military operation conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) against PKK/YPG members in the majority-Kurdish Afrin District of northwest Syria. (ILKHA)
