A 5.1 magnitude earthquake strikes Turkey’s eastern Erzurum province
The quake took place at 15.40 TSI on Friday, according to Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
The epicenter of the earthquake was near the Köprüköy district of Erzurum province.
The earthquake was felt in the nearby provinces, including Erzincan, Ağrı, Bingöl, Kars, Muş, Bayburt, Gümüşhane and Tunceli, the local sources said.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. (ILKHA)
