Turkey’s confirmed coronavirus cases rise by 22,261: Health Ministry
138 more people have died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 52,703, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 6,018,485, after 22,261 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 543 patients are in critical condition, 5,558,722 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
About 80 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
