The number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 21.4% compared with the previous month

In April, compared with the previous month, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 28.9%, 11.6% and 7.6% for minibus, motorcycles and buses whereas it decreased by 76.7%, 30.3%, 23.0%, 16.8% and 16.7% for special purpose vehicles, cars, small trucks, tractors and trucks respectively.

The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 155.1% compared with the same month of the previous year

In April, compared with the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 213.0%, 183.5%, 172.6%, 141.0%, 107.5%, 97.4% and 95.3% for small trucks, cars, trucks, minibuses, tractors, motorcycles and buses respectively while it decreased by 12.9% for special purpose vehicles.

At the end of April, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 24 million 553 thousand 312

At the end of April, cars represented 54.4%, small trucks 16.3%, motorcycles 14.5%, tractors 8.1%, trucks 3.5%, minibuses 2.0%, buses 0.9% and special purpose vehicles 0.3% of total number of road motor vehicles registered.

610 thousand 94 road motor vehicles handed over in April

Among vehicles handed over in April, cars accounted for 66.4% followed by small trucks 17.2%, motorcycles 7.0%, tractors 3.7%, trucks 2.8%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 0.6% and special purpose vehicles 0.2%.

In April, 55 thousand 733 cars were registered to the traffic

In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in April, Renault recorded 12.6%, Volkswagen 11.6%, Fiat 10.7%, Toyota 8.7%, Opel 5.8%, Skoda 5.6%, Peugeot 5.2%, Dacia 4.7%, Citroen 4.5%, Honda 4.3%, Hyundai 4.2%, Mercedes-Benz 3.2%, Ford 3.2%, Kia 2.8%, Audi 2.1%, BMW 1.9%, Nissan 1.9%, Seat 1.7%, Volvo 1.3%, Land Rover 0.6% and the other trademarks 3.2% of the total.        

In the period of January-April 426 thousand 96 road motor vehicles were registered

In the January-April period, compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of registered vehicles increased by 63.9% and became 426 thousand 96 while the number of withdrawn road motor vehicles decreased by 6.6% and became 15 thousand 67.
