S-PPI (2017=100) increased by 3.43% monthly, by 9.75% on December of the previous year, by 26.26% on same month of the previous year and by 18.76% on the twelve months moving averages basis in April 2021.

Transportation and storage services increased by 33.93% annually

The indices increased by 33.93% for transportation and storage services, by 25.97% for accommodation and food services, by 10.47% for information and communication services, by 20.24% for real estate services, by 16.78% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 24.41% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.

Transportation and storage services increased by 6.61% monthly

The indices increased by 6.61% for transportation and storage services, by 1.81% for accommodation and food services, by 3.72% for information and communication services, decreased by 2.66% for real estate services, by 1.06% for professional, scientific and technical services, increased by 1.69% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.

The lowest annual increase was in telecommunications services by 5.69%

The lowest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for telecommunications services by 5.69%, for motion picture, video, TV programme production services by 9.53%, for publishing services by 10.84%. On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for water transport services by 80.43%, for air transport services by 62.39%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 53.64%.

The highest monthly decrease was in advertising and market research services by 9.81%

The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for advertising and market research services by 9.81%, for office administrative, support and other business support services by 2.73%, for real estate services by 2.66%.

On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for water transport services 21.17%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 10.32%, for air transport services by 9.64%. (ILKHA)
