Services producer price index rises by 23.70% annually in Turkey
Services producer price index (S-PPI) increased by 23.70% annually and 3.96% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Thursday.

S-PPI (2017=100) increased by 3.96% monthly, by 6.11% in December of the previous year, by 23.70% in the same month of the previous year, and by 17.42% on the twelve months moving averages basis in March 2021.
Transportation and storage services increased by 29.74% annually
The indices increased by 29.74% for transportation and storage services, by 24.20% for accommodation and food services, by 7.69% for information and communication services, by 19.17% for real estate services, by 17.20% for professional, scientific, and technical services, by 22.11% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.
Transportation and storage services increased by 5.07% monthly
The indices increased by 5.07% for transportation and storage services, by 3.08% for accommodation and food services, decreased by 1.79% for information and communication services, increased by 20.56% for real estate services, by 2.23% for professional, scientific, and technical services, by 1.81% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.
The lowest annual increase was in telecommunications services by 5.85%
The lowest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for telecommunications services by 5.85%, for computer programming, consultancy and related services by 7.02%, for motion picture, video, TV programme production services by 9.23%. On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for air transport services by 60.77%, for water transport services by 56.87%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 46.46%.
The highest monthly decrease was in telecommunications services by 3.91%
The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for telecommunications services by 3.91%, for computer programming, consultancy and related services by 1.45%, for office administrative, support and other business support services by 0.89%.
On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for real estate services by 20.56%, for water transport services 19.09%, for warehousing and support services for transportation by 10.12%. (ILKHA)
