The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 11,538,057 cases, followed by India with 8,874,290 cases, Brazil with 5,876,740 cases, France with 1,991,233, Russia with 1,948,603 cases, Spain with 1,521,899 cases, United Kingdom with 1,390,681 cases and Argentina with 1,318,384 cases.

A total 38,494,381 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
